Entry is $70 per product
We use a community-based judging panel, the same approach as the NZ Organic Wine Awards and NZ Small Batch Gin Awards. Our judges are enthusiastic, engaged consumers who evaluate each product blind, without brand influence. This ensures results reflect real-world appeal.
Any low- or no-alcohol product available for retail sale in New Zealand can be entered, provided it meets the ABV rules:
No Alcohol: 0.5% ABV or less
Low Alcohol: Above 0.5% and up to 3.5% ABV
Yes, providing they are currently for sale in NZ.
Absolutely — many producers enter multiple products. Each product needs its own entry form, but you’re welcome to send all your samples together.
Probably not… unless she applies and passes our tasting selection process! Our community panel is made up of everyday consumers from around New Zealand who love exploring new flavours. Judges are selected for their palate, consistency, and enthusiasm — and yes, they really do taste everything blind.
